Frank J. Wideman, III, President of The Self Family Foundation announced the following grants were awarded by the trustees at their December 16, 2017 board meeting:

Self Regional Healthcare – $500,000 matching grant for the Vision 2020 campaign.

Greenwood Family YMCA – $50,000 grant to support the High Hopes after-school and summer youth programs.

Call Me MISTER (Clemson) – $20,000 matching grant to support the Summer Leadership Institute at Clemson.

City of Greenwood – $20,000 to support the horticulture education program.

Greenwood Area Habitat for Humanity – $11,000 for the Mathews Mill Village Quality of Life Plan and support for the Neighborhood Association Council.

The Self Family Foundation’s primary areas of emphasis are education, community wellness, and arts, culture & history.
